Hi, I'm Katy, and I enjoy long walks on the beach– oh, who am I kidding? I live in the middle of nowhere, we don't HAVE any beaches. Fuckin' kangaroos.

Extremely sarcastic, far too liberal with fandom shipping, highly prolific (on days when it's slow at work, at least). Addicted to video games and writing my soul away, sometimes in non-fandom ways. Often profane, seldom censored, and ALWAYS cynical. At the request of certain people on the f-list who will go unnamed Sev, there is a warning not to drink coffee while reading this for fear of ruining your keyboard when said beverage gets spit back out. What.

Just as a general warning, the following items may appear in this journal in unspecified quantities: music videos set to Miley Cyrus songs, inarticulate jumbles of words when overly excited, Reno/Rydia, cosplay of awesome proportions, hatred to ex-boyfriends, Reno/Rydia, crack (not the scary plumber kind), tags of particularly inappropriate nature, pictures/videos/love sonnets to my puppy Gasper, Reno/Rydia, complaining about how people I work with are DUMB, and drunken decisions that I can't be held accountable for. Oh, and Reno/Rydia.

Okay, so you actually want to know stuff about me. Here are some things you should know: I work as a graphic designer for a publishing company that makes study materials for standardized tests. I live in an apartment that is quite cool, but located in a not-quite-so-cool side of town and we sometimes get some really awesome knife fights outside. I have a Yorkie named Gasper who is adorable and infuriating at the same time. My family is number one above all else, followed closely by my amazing, awesome friends. I have a B.A., though I think I probably learned far more about life in college than I did about my career field. I'm addicted to The Hills and social networking sites like facebook, but I've decided that this is okay, because I'm past the point where I try to prove my uniqueness by rebelling against popular things for the sole reason that they are popular. Except I hate MySpace, because people are so bad at designing that their customized color schemes give me epileptic seizures. I have worked in newspapers, magazines, book publishing, ad designing, and website designing and probably made a grand total of $153 combined from five years of said genres.

I am a firm believer that you can only blame outside problems and factors for so long for the reason your life is not what you want it to be: after awhile, they are just excuses, and you are the only person holding yourself back. Odds are, if you bitch about how hard your life is constantly, I'm bitching about you bitching to other people, because no one likes to be around people that constantly complain about how hard they have it and don't ever do anything to change it. I'm blunt and honest and passionate, and a lot of people can't handle these traits, and I understand if you end up leaving with clouds of smoke coming from your ears. xD

I have an A.A. in Epic Story-telling, a B.A. in Uncommon Pairings, and a Ph. D. in Use of Cock Whenever Possible, all from the University of In My Pants.
